Something worth sharing to all the Singles out there.
Choose faith and obedience more than feelings and temporary pleasures.
You were starting to be content with your singleness until someone comes along to rock your convictions and commitments to live life undivided for Christ. The worse part of it is that he is an unbeliever. Perhaps, it would have been less complicated if he was of the same household of faith like you do, but he is not. Then, here comes a young gentleman—attractive in so many ways—who likes to talk to you, respects, compliment, and appreciates you. You hit it off right away when you met. He seems to be nice and passionate about life. But hey sister, he’s not a believer! You already know how this would end. So you want to guard your heart, but the challenge is on! You just officially caught yourself on guard with his appeal and attention.
You pray every night, resisting yourself from temptation, but he’s so cute and fine, and…

She asked him, “Are you the one?”
And he answered, “Can I be?“
He knelt down on one knee, pulled out a small, navy blue velvet box and flicked it open. It was a ring with a sparkling gem on it.
I do not want to disturb your musings and the quick flutter of butterflies in your stomach but let me tell you a disclaimer. I am still single and the scene above is just a piece of my vivid daydreaming of how a cute engagement is like for me. Sunsets, yellow tulips, family and friends and the man of my prayers — whose heart will not flutter at these things?

“Why didn’t you tell me that this is going to happen?”
“Sweetheart, I don’t want you to spend the rest of your life waiting.” ..God says
He knows you’ll get tired of waiting
He doesn’t want you to stop living just because you got tired of waiting. He wants you to spend your life trusting Him and not waiting for Him. Because the journey can be long and some people might leave you along the way yet when you trust in Him, you know that you will never be alone.
That when you trust instead of wait, your heart knows that you already have everything in Him.
That you’re not lacking. That you’re not waiting for something to happen before you can call yourself, “complete.”
Because you are. You already are.
You are made whole by the blood of Jesus who sacrificed His life for you. Let me…

God is not random and he’s not spontaneous. He strategically plans every good thing in our lives. There are things he has for us, according to his will. He does things for his good pleasure. Remember this: for every time there is a purpose and for every purpose there is a time. Get on God’s watch and follow his plan so the purpose will be revealed. When we step out ahead of God, we create our own problems. We are so blind to what is God and what’s not God. If it’s not what we want, we say it’s not God. When we want something bad enough, we ignore all the little signs showing us it is not God. When we truly seek God, he gives us clear answers and we get mad because it wasn’t what we wanted to hear. So, we stir up confusion in our mind trying…

One of the Bible verses I was reflecting on this morning is:
Psalm 46:10 – He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
When I heard that a friend was having a difficult time I sent her this poem that was inspired by this verse.
Be still, take my peace,
I am here,
Find freedom in my presence,
Receive from me,
Believe in the safety of my arms,
Surrender to me
I am God
I am Love
My love for you knows no boundaries
Stay here a while, there is no rush
Be still and know that “I am”
Meet me here
Cast all your fears on me
I am all you need
Relax and talk to me
I am listening, will you listen to me?

Not long ago, I had discovered that Jesus occasionally speaks to me through vivid dreams. Initially, I was unaware of the power and prophetic insight each dream contained until its messages started to become reality.
I once dreamt that I was involved in an accident, and extensive injuries had caused my death. I was elated to finally meet Jesus face to face and live with Him forever. But as I lay there dying, Jesus never appeared. I called out to Him in despiration, “Jesus, where are you?! I want to come home. Why can’t I see you?” He replied, “I’m not letting you leave earth yet. You have work to do.” I reentered my body and healed from the horrific trauma that ensued.
Prior to this encounter with Jesus, my mother and I were engaging in conversation. “I don’t understand why certain people experience more hardship than others,”…
