It is my firm belief that following Jesus is the only journey in life worth taking. After seeing the way God changes hearts, meets impossible needs, heals incurable disease, and restores people, I am convinced beyond a doubt that God didn’t create us to live mediocre, settle-for-less lives.

He sent his Son to die on the cross so that we could be forgiven and have eternal life, and not so we could sleepwalk through life as we wait for Heaven.

The word of God shows us how to navigate the inevitable twists and turns, and bumps and bruises we may encounter. God has a unique purpose and plan for you – your life, love, and leadership journey was crafted in Heaven long before the foundations of the earth.

~LIVE LOVE LEAD, BRIAN HOUSTON~

I’ve been reading a lot of Christian books lately.

I am so blessed with all the encouragement, stories, testimonies, and wisdom of the author, and I suddenly felt the desire to share it on my blog.

I believe it is worth sharing to spread the word of a certain book, blogs, article, and bible stories/verses as it somehow touched us, inspired us, and it blessed us in a way that we could not ever imagine.

There were some sort of a connection that goes deep into your soul that it will cause you to be moved, and I believe it is the Holy Spirit touching us from the inside.

Reading for me was like you were travelling into a different dimension.

It is an opportunity where you get to travel to a certain abode, a place that the author were describing.

Enjoy reading… 🙂

More to come…. ❤

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. ~John 3:16~

God’s love and forgiveness can pardon and restore any and every kind of sin or wrongdoing. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done. It doesn’t matter if you’ve deliberately oppressed  or even murdered people, or how much you’ve abused yourself. The younger brother knew that in his father’s house there was abundant “food to spare”, but he also discovered that there was grace to spare. There is no evil that the father’s love cannot pardon and cover, there is no sin that is a match for his grace.

Act 1, then, demonstrates the lavish prodigality of God’s grace. Jesus shows the father pouncing on his son in love not only before he has a chance to clean his life and evidence a change of heart, but even before he can recite his repentance speech. Nothing, not even abject contrition, merits the favor of God.

The Father’s love and acceptance are absolutely free.

The Parable of the Lost Son

The Fifth Commandment

Exodus 20:12 ~ Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

Exodus 21:17 ~ Whoever curses his father or his mother shall be put to death.

Ephesians 6:1-3 ~ Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this this is right. Honor your father and mother (this is the first commandment with a promise), that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.

Psalm 11:13 ~ If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Honor is the bond between generations (George Stob).

The Fifth Commandment is at the heart of God’s Law. It concludes the first four Commandments that address our relationship with God. It introduces that last six commandments which govern relationships between people.

About a generation ago, American youth in general quit honoring their parents. Today we see appalling results. Respect and reverence for elders have been replaced with rejection, rebellion, and rioting against authority in the home school, church and government.

Youth are not entirely to blame for the breakdown of the family. Many parents fail to command the respect of their young because their own lives are in shambles. Obedience to the Fifth Commandments begins with faithful parents and spiritual elders who teach and guide the young by example and loving discipline.

When parents flout God’s moral law in relation to family, society and government, the meltdown passes on to the next generation. Parents who drink, flirt have no moral authority to restrain their children from drugs and porn. When church and clergy compromise the norms of marriage and family, we should not be surprised at the rising tide of divorce/annulment and teenage pregnancy among Christians.

The Fifth Commandment is hailed as the first commandment with promise: that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land (Ephesians 6:2-3). It would be unwise to reduce this promise to motive. Doing right for rewards is no longer right. We honor and obey our parents, not for reward but simply because it’s the right thing to do. As Paul said, children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right (Ephesians 6:1). When you do that, things will go well for you.

Honoring parents, however, does not guarantee immunity from sickness, accidents, or premature death. The promise linked to the Fifth Commandment is not about rewards but results. It’ about how life works. When children honor their parents, there is no generation gap, no matter how times may change. When children respect and obey their parents, they have the best chance at a long, fruitful and happy life.

The Fifth Commandment with its promise simply echoes general principle of the Bible: the only way to live life well is to live life on God’s terms.

“Honor your parents unconditionally ~ in thought, word and deed ~ regardless how they live and no matter how they treat you (PAST, PRESENT or FUTURE).

God’s Love letter to you

Everyone longs to give himself completely to someone; to have a deep soul relationship with another; to be loved thoroughly and exclusively.

But, God to a Christian says , NO, until you are satisfied, fulfilled, and content with being loved by ME, alone.

With giving yourself totally and unreservedly to ME. To having an intensely personal and unique relationship with me alone.

Discovering that only in ME is your satisfaction to be found, will you be capable of the perfect human relationship that I plan for you.

You will never be united with another until you are united with me, really united with another, exclusive of anyone, or anything else, exclusive of any other desires or longings.

I want you to stop planning, stop wishing, and allow ME to give you the most thrilling plan existing…ONE that you cannot imagine… ❤

I want you to have the “BEST” , please allow me to bring it to you.

Just keep watching me…expecting the greatest things. Keep experiencing the satisfaction that “I AM”..

And keep listening and learning the things I tell you.

You just WAIT, that’s all, WAIT…

Don’t be anxious, don’t worry, don’t look around at the things that others have gotten or I have given.

Don’t look at the things you think you want.

Just keep on looking off and away to me, or you will miss want I want to show you.

An then, when you are ready, I’ll surprise you with a LOVE far more wonderful than anything you would dream of.

You see, until you are ready and until that one I have for you is READY.

And I am working even at this very moment to have both of you ready at the same time.

Until you are both satisfied exclusively with me and the life I prepare for you, you won’t be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with me.

And this is perfect “LOVE”.

And dear one, I want you to have the most wonderful love.

I want to see in you, in the flesh a picture of your relationship with ME.

And I want you to enjoy materially, the everlasting union and beauty and perfection and love that I offer you with Myself.

I know that I LOVE YOU utterly.

I am most loving Father, GOD Almighty.

Believe it and be satisfied and I will satisfy you…

Love,

JESUS CHRIST ❤
